My rack had finally been made! but I was not yet done. I still had to put the barriers around each compartment, so that the fruits/vegetables do not fall off. I had already cut out all the barriers and all was left is to stick them around. However, the barriers were to long since I had measured them according to the length and width of each compartment though I didn't take into consideration that the pillars will also take some space, in my measurements. Therefore, I had to cut about 2-3 cm in each of the barriers so that they could fit in in the spaces around the compartment. This was not such a hard task, but was really exhausting. In addition, the most challenging and one of the most challenging parts of the whole process was sticking the barriers. After I was done with cutting the barriers, I started applying wood glue on them and started sticking them on the rack. I had to hold the barriers whilst they were sticking for almost 20 minutes for them to dry which was really strenuous and if I would leave them they would fall off. This was because the barriers had to be stuck to a place that would really be hard for them to stick. However using my open-minded skills, I kept some heavy items such as dictionaries on top of them so that it would hold the barriers in that particular position for it to dry. I then applied a little bit of super glue to the barriers when drying so that they would stick faster. My strengths today were that I was able to think of creative and open minded ways that eased my work and good gluing and sticking skills. What I liked today was that now my rack looks more presentable and refined and was satisfied with the work I had done without any help or guidance. Today, I didn't experience any weaknesses as I was able to test a number of my skills such as problem-solving skills,self-management skills, cutting skills and gluing and sticking skills. What I would like to improve on is to re-measure and double-check before I start doing a task to avoid complications later or if not I can ask a peer or someone to also check for me. I should ask for more feedback's so that I can improve on my things before it is to late to change anything. I am very glad that I am now more or less 90% done with my rack left with just painting it, applying wheels and varnishing it.
