Thursday the 5th of December 2013

I was very relaxed and happy today, since I was done with my investigate. We went to the library for the lesson. As people still were finishing with their investigate stage I decided to start on mine with some of the other people. I first went to Saumya, Summiyah and Shaan to get an explanation/ guidance on what I am suppose to do. From the explanation i got, I was already looking forward for the stage as I love sketching 3d objects. I didn't start off my design on paper but took my note book and drew 3 rough sketches of each of my designs. It was very interesting and challenging. Since the library is quite hot and stuffy my hands started to sweat which made it difficult to sketch and was really annoying. Although, I managed to make 3 rough designs that will later help me when making the original and final ones. This was all I did or today's lesson which developed and improved my artistic and drawing skills. I will try working on my actual designs through the break as the design stage requires a lot of time and therefore my designs will be of excellent quality.

Wednesday the 4th of November 2013

I was very focused today so that I could finish off with the investigate today. I was only left with the Evaluation of resources and bibliography. Therefore I started off immediately. The evaluation on resources allowed me to reflect on the resources that I made use of whilst doing my research. This helped me know about what I should do next time and whether I learn't anything/ were they useful or not. This didn't take a lot of time as it was very easy and short. I moved on to the bibliography where as I had already noted down the websites, books and interview I had used for the investigate. I used bibme to cite my sources so that it could be in APA format. Unfortunately, after I had finished doing my bibliography I realized that I had done the bibliography in MLA instead of APA hence I started all over again. Though, it didn't take so much time. I was able to finish my investigate stage in time. I was very proud of my accomplishment and proof read my work for any mistakes or corrections. The investigate stage in dt was so much more easier than what we had done in ct. This was because c.t investigate stage had no limitation therefore it meant it needed to be detailed. However d.t was much more easier as we were only suppose to do 12 pages which made me emphasize on my information at some parts of the stage, though it was a fun and interesting experience giving me a better insight on wood working. I now am very knowledgeable on this project therefore I hope for the best in the rest of the stages and that the experience and knowledge I gained can be used for the other parts of this project.
