Today, we went to the c.t lab to continue on our investigate. I started off doing the design specs. The design specs mention about the element that I want in my design. My decision-making skills were put to test in this part of the stage as I had to choose appropriate and relevant specs for my final product. I got a lot of ideas for the design specs through the product analysis that I had done before. I also kept down test strategies for each of the specs so that I can know whether the spec has passed or failed after I make it in the create stage. It was quite fun doing the design specifications as it allowed me to choose and decide how i want my product to be. Though I was not able to finish the design specs in class, I completed them at home with the help of my mum giving me an helping hand on what my product expects/ needs according to her. At the end, I read through my design specs over and over again as the design specs is a key part of the whole process as it will be included in the design stage, create stage and evaluate stage. Finally, I was done with the design specs and now was excited and anxious to finish the rest of the investigate stage so that I can start off with the design stage.
