INVESTIGATE STAGE
TUESDAY THE 19TH OF NOVEMBER 2013
Today I continued doing my research. According to the investigate stage we have to start with the problem description, then design brief and son on. The research come in the middle. However, I have decided to the research first so I can have the exact idea on what I will make. For my research, I have to include: types of wood joints, adhesives, wood finishing and types of storage devices. In today's lesson, I continued to work on adhesives as I had finished researching on the types of wood joints in the previous lesson. In today's lesson, I learn t that there are two types of adhesives. These are reactive and non-reactive. I have developed and improved on my research skills and time management skills. This is because, normally I have a very slow pace of working but today Mr. Wafula told us that he wanted to check what we have done by the end of the lesson. So I had to hurry up a bit., but it really benefited me as i had less to do at home. Today was fun and interesting finding about adhesives and made me get a lot of ideas on different types of adhesives I can use when making my product.
